About Sinigrin

Glucosinolate

Sinigrin is a glucosinolate found in Brussels sprouts, black mustard seeds and horseradish. It is converted to allyl isothiocyanate (the pungent compound in mustard) by myrosinase and has been studied for antimicrobial and anti-cancer properties.
